What if I need a follow-up once I’m back in the UK?

What is the “open & close” technique?
It combines the two things gynecomastia actually needs: liposuction removes the fatty component, and direct gland excision through a small incision at the areola border removes the firm glandular tissue that lipo alone can’t touch. Treating only one component is why results elsewhere disappoint — we treat both in one operation.
Will gynecomastia come back after surgery?
The removed gland does not grow back, so results are typically permanent at a stable weight. Significant weight gain or ongoing hormonal/medication triggers can affect the chest — your surgeon reviews your history at assessment and tells you honestly if a cause should be addressed first.
Will there be visible scars?
The excision incision follows the lower border of the areola, where it blends into the natural colour transition; lipo entry points are a few millimetres. Most patients find scars very hard to spot within months, helped by the scar-care protocol in your aftercare.
When can I go back to the gym?
Walking from day one, desk work within about a week, light cardio from week 2–3 — but chest training waits 4–6 weeks and your compression vest is worn as advised; it does half the sculpting work. Full training returns with your surgeon’s clearance.
