Information on the processing of personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data We Process and Why
When you contact us via our forms, WhatsApp, phone or email, we process your name, contact details and any health information you voluntarily share for the purpose of planning your treatment. We use this data to respond to your enquiry, assess suitability with the relevant medical specialists, organise appointments, accommodation and transfers, fulfil legal obligations, and maintain communication with you. Health data is special-category data and is processed only on the basis of your explicit consent.
3. Legal Bases
Processing is based on: the establishment and performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; and — for health data — your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
4. Sharing and International Transfer
Where necessary for your treatment, we share data — strictly limited to purpose — with our contracted healthcare institutions, accommodation and transfer providers, and competent public authorities where legally required. As we are based in Türkiye, your data is processed outside the EU/EEA; we apply appropriate safeguards and process your data solely for the purposes described above.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by statutory retention obligations.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction, know the third parties to whom data has been transferred, and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing (KVKK Art. 11; GDPR Arts. 15–21 where applicable). Requests can be sent to info@newmehealthclinic.com or in writing to our registered address. Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest.
