How gastric sleeve surgery works

Keyhole surgery
The operation is performed laparoscopically through 4–5 small incisions — meaning less pain, minimal scarring and faster recovery.

Stomach reduction
Around 75–80% of the stomach is removed, leaving a sleeve-shaped pouch. You feel full sooner and hunger hormones are significantly reduced.

Leak test & recovery
A leak test is performed before you leave theatre. You stay 3–4 nights in hospital under 24/7 nursing care before moving to your recovery hotel.

How long do I need to stay in Antalya?
